However, this guitar is more than just a pretty face, thanks to its set of EMG 60TW-R (neck) and EMG 81 (bridge) pickups, as well as a push-pull control to split the neck pickup.
Furthermore, the EC-1000 EverTune BB boasts 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets and the acclaimed EverTune constant tension bridge, which helps keep the guitar in perfect tune at all points on the fingerboard under almost all circumstances. This impressive construction is achieved through a Set-Thru design, with a Mahogany body and Maple cap, a 3-piece Mahogany neck, and a Macassar Ebony fingerboard.
The guitar's hardware and electronics are equally impressive, with a Evertune (F model) bridge and Brushed Chrome EMG pickups. The neck pickup is an EMG 60TW-R, which can be split using the push-pull control, while the bridge pickup is an EMG 81. To complete the package, the EC-1000 EverTune BB is strung with D'Addario XL120 (.009/.011/.016/.024/.032/.042) strings.
